Parents 40th Wedding Anniversary

How do you top an evening like this...? The four of us, brother and sisters, decided it was time to surprise my parents, well my mom, with a night to remember so since it was their 40th wedding anniversary we couldn't think of a more perfect time. We had it all arranged and all my dad's side came, my Aunt Karma, Grandma B, and many of my parents friends. We held our Chicken dinner at Beaver Dick Park which holds many memories for my parents. My amazing father asked my beautiful mother to marry him at that park. We also made a blanket with a square representing each of the families and grandchildren, a talent my mom taught me sewing, to give as a gift that evening. I loved every minute of that night, a NIGHT to remember. Love Ya mom and dad!

Homecoming Royalty 2009

Jocelyn won Senior Homecoming Royalty and Mason won Freshman Homecoming Royalty. It was a very neat weekend full of dressing up for all the events; parade, assembly, the famous walk on the football field and of course the dance.

What an amazing weekend! Jordon, our oldest, went through the Temple and Braxton, our baby, was baptized.

The second weekend of July went on a 113 mile 4-wheeler ride with the with Carp and Molly, We rode from Ashton to West Yellowstone and back. It was such a pretty ride and we got to see a moose, buck, elk, and antelope along the way. A few of the front drivers ended up pretty dirty, luckily I was behing Carp and the way and my face was saved.

4th of July Family Party

This Fourth of July was very different from all the others I have experienced so far. For the last three years I have talked about running in a race, but talk only no action and this year I decided to train and actually do it. My friends Carp was also going to race with me, but bailed out the last few weeks cause of an injury. I had been running three to four times a week three miles and my goal was to run it in 29 min or at least not walk any part of it. To those that run I know that sounds weak, but it is where my running or jogging level is at. I actually accomplished my goal and ran it in 28:37 min, but thought I was going to die. I started the race thinking I needed to be out in front of the pack and pulled my hamstring or something in the top of my right leg and wanted to cry. During the last mile I so wanted to walk cause I then got a sideache which I had never had running before, thank heavens for my parents showing up because at the corner I was near my end ready to walk a bit and saw my parents cheering me on. I COULD DO THIS and at the end of the race was Jared and Jordon I am sure praying I would come across that finish line. That afternoon we had a lunch at our home and then spent the evening with Tera and her family watching the best fireworks in IF. Way a perfect day, well perhaps not perfect I swore I was going to die during the race, but it ended perfect. Thanks family!!!!!

"Fire"

On Tuesday, Jared started a fire for Bayli who as been asking all month to have one. It decided to stop raining for about two hours so Jared cut the wood and the fire began. It was a little hot for smores but that didn't stop the kids or Jared from making them before it rained again. Needless to say, some of our smores were on the "well done" side but yummy.

What a cutie. Jordon and his friend Kevin won this lovely blue dragon at Lagoon and lucky for me he gave it to Bayli and Braxton to share. Today was Braxton's day so he decided to have it watch cartoon with him.

Jordon's Graduation night. Thanks for all the wonderful thoughtful gifts, card, money, and most of all support you've given our son. I love him a TON. I am so proud of the man he has been and more so the man he has started to turn into. He is one in a million or at least one in a million to me. PS. Thanks mom for all your help with the blanket, I love you too.
