Going Back Home

Jocey's state ball tournament was in Boise, only and hour away from my home town so I had to go and visit. My parents also came with us to revisit all the people we love in Weiser and to go around and see all our old homes, grandparents house, school, store, gravesides, buy roses, etc. Everything that I love to do when I get the opportunity to go back home. Miles away from Weiser I could smell the onions and it made me start to cry, I love the smell of home, the fields, the weather, EVERYTHING and EVERY memory about that place. I also took photos with my grandpa's sister that are still living there. A perfect day!!

Basketball Season 2010

Jocey's basketball team took home the consolation trophy this year at state. She was also asked to play in the All-Star game along with Sophia and during that half time she was awarded the 2010 Sportsmanship Award for 3A and a $250.00 scholarship.

It's Official Jocey is a Mustang!

Jocey has signed to play volleyball at Western Wyoming. She made it official on 01/15/10 and is scheduled to report there August 5th. She will be a wonderful asset to their team, or only fear is keeping her away from the boys over the next few years. I have told her she only has my blessing to be married after she graduates or is at least 24. :) I love my Jocey.

Ostermiller Early Thanksgiving

Sunday, November 8th 2009. Jordon's neighborhood friend Chris came over after church to say his goodbyes. Chris has been one of Jordon's best friends and I know they will greatly miss each other. After Chris left Jordon and Jocey walked to their house to tell the other kids goodbye. That afternoon we went out to Grandma Carols for the "Early Thanksgiving Dinner". Everyone was there even George, Tiff, and baby Locklynn. George, our foster son, told work that his little brother was leaving on a mission and he needed the day off to attend a dinner. I am not sure how I feel about my son leaving in three days to many emotions to sort through, all I want him to know and feel is how proud I am of him and how much I will continue to love him when he is gone. If I write anymore I will cry. LOVE you son!!!!!

Parents 40th Wedding Anniversary

How do you top an evening like this...? The four of us, brother and sisters, decided it was time to surprise my parents, well my mom, with a night to remember so since it was their 40th wedding anniversary we couldn't think of a more perfect time. We had it all arranged and all my dad's side came, my Aunt Karma, Grandma B, and many of my parents friends. We held our Chicken dinner at Beaver Dick Park which holds many memories for my parents. My amazing father asked my beautiful mother to marry him at that park. We also made a blanket with a square representing each of the families and grandchildren, a talent my mom taught me sewing, to give as a gift that evening. I loved every minute of that night, a NIGHT to remember. Love Ya mom and dad!

Homecoming Royalty 2009

Jocelyn won Senior Homecoming Royalty and Mason won Freshman Homecoming Royalty. It was a very neat weekend full of dressing up for all the events; parade, assembly, the famous walk on the football field and of course the dance.

What an amazing weekend! Jordon, our oldest, went through the Temple and Braxton, our baby, was baptized.
